About Me

A bit about me:

A Massachusetts native, I currently reside in the East Bay with my partner and kid (plus two cats). I have studied and practiced Buddhism in Tibetan and Zen traditions for 20+ years as well as training in massage, Craniosacral therapy, Acupressure, Focusing and Kripalu yoga (CYT) among other body-mind modalities.

Prior to practicing bodywork, I worked as a caregiver for seniors and people with disabilities and as an admin for arts/Buddhist orgs. I also studied Intermedia Art at Mills College, where I pursued my interests in experimental/documentary film, performance, creative writing and photography. I’m keen to delve into the intersection between healing and the arts, and always looking for ways to support others in accessing their creative potential.

As for how I got into Rosen Method, I discovered this modality in the early days of raising my child, when I found it enormously helpful for learning how to parent with presence and patience, and also for processing birth/medical trauma. It has been very grounding and eye-opening and a wonderful complement to other healing work.
